Canterbury
It was during a boat trip in the middle of Canterbury I managed to fire off a few shots of this scene, it would have been impossible to have sketched this out within 2 or 3 minutes that this scene was in view. However most of my good pen and ink work is lifted from my own sketches rather than photos. There is no problem using photos as long as you obey the two key rules. The first being they must be your own snaps and secondly only use them for any reference details that you feel you may need in the finished work, or you did not get chance to complete.
