The drawing was then outlined in pen before painted, using Winsor and Newton colours.Sketching on site is always tricky with delivery lorries coming and going. I have used some artist licence as many of the buildings are shops, I have converted some of them back to probably what they looked like 40 years ago, and I left out the hanging baskets crowded with bright red begonias.
