It was lightely drawn onto Hahnemuhle Harmony watercolour paper 140lb cold press. The drawing was then outlined in pen before painted, using Winsor and Newton colours.Sketching on site is always tricky with delivery lorries coming and going. I have used some artist licence as many of the buildings are shops, I have converted some of them back to probably what they looked like 40 years ago, and I left out the hanging baskets crowded with bright red begonias.
