Oxford Street Whitstable
This pen and wash started life as sketch, drawn a few years ago, whilst waiting for the family whilst they were shopping. Luckily it was only 20 minutes, which is good some time to really focus you on getting the main details down, and avoids getting bogged down in to much detail. I was recently asked to provide a pen and wash for a magazine, at the last minute, and this is the one I chose. I was quite pleased with the results. It was painted on Fabriano 300gms Hot press, outlined with waterproof technical pens, and painted with Winsor & Newton Watercolours.
